What might destroy your sunless tan?
  1. Curel Lotion or Dove bath/shower products.
  2. Hair inhibiting lotions and depilatory products (Nair, Veet, Neet, etc.)  
  3. Anti-aging products that "renew" or otherwise
    exfoliate skin.
  4. AHA's (Alpha Hydroxy Acids -glycolic, lactic, Malic,
    citric and Tartaric acids)  
  5. BHA's (Beta Hydroxy Acids-salicylic acid)  
  6. Retin-A type products (Retin-A, Renova, Tazorac, Tretinoin) and anti-acne products (Accutane, Salicylic acid, etc)
  7. Toners containing alcohol or witch hazel  
  8. Makeup removers
  9. Bar soaps (especially the deodorant varieties),
    and/or medicated soaps.  
  10. Harsh scrubbing with loofas, bath mitts, etc.  (To protect your tan, wash your skin with a soft washcloth or soft poof).
  11. Band Aids or adhesive tape applied to skin can pull the "tan" off.
  12. Facial masks, exfoliating scrubs, and "Biore"-type facial pore strips
  13. Hair removal wax
  14. Dull razors  
  15. Body bleach products
  16. Submersion in hot tubs, swimming pools, and salt water - (waterproof sunblock helps; try "Bullfrog")
  17. Soaking in long baths
  18. Bug spray (when sprayed directly onto skin)
